Transporting rugs
Once completed, rugs are transported to the city by train and then picked up at the train station by a horse-drawn cart known as a tonga. Lahore, Pakistan

When all sheets of the talam have been completed, the newly knotted rug is cut from the loom and taken to the warehouse in Lahore for finishing. It may be transported by car, ox cart, train or on the back of a motorbike or bicycle.
