Storytime on the Carpet in November

November 8 @ 11:00 am11:45 am

Free

Storytime is a FREE activity for Preschool and Elementary school age children. Once a month we put the rugs on the floor to lounge on while listening to a storybook.

We would love to have you and your children join us on our durable rugs. Reading and a craft (with glue and all sorts of fun messy things) is all done in the rug room near (and even on) the rugs.

Orange and Blue: The World of Barzu

By Marina Abrams

Do you know what a tanoor is? Do you know the secrets of the Bread of Wonder? Have you seen the City of Blue Domes or ridden a camel through the desert? You will say “yes” to all of these, once you have read this book. You will meet Barzu, a playful boy who lives in the mountains of Tajikistan, his grandmother, who tells the most wonderful stories, and his father, the great craftsman, Zafar!

The reading will be followed by a craft activity. RSVP below to reserve one of 25 spots on the rug and at the crafts table.
